This Home Was Under Contract in Just 5 Days! Here is Why

I had a suspicion that this home would sell quite quickly, and here is why: The amazing addition and the way the property was staged made it show incredibly well. As I have mentioned to many clients in the past, homes sell based on how well they show and how they make a client feel as they walk through the home. This particular home had such an amazing kitchen, dining, and living space, I can only imagine that the buyers were able to look past the master bedroom and bathroom which both needed some updating. This home was staged well, had great photography, and provided a great space for multiple types of buyers. I am not incredibly surprised that it sold for full price, it may have even sold for a little bit more if it were on the market slightly earlier in the summer when more buyers were in the market. 

This home will be a great comparable for other Laporte Ave homes coming on the market in the upcoming months. I’ve seen quite a few homes sold on Laporte Ave this year and have noticed that the slightly busy aspect of the street has not been a huge deterrent in sales. As we see the market start to slow down during the transition to fall, expect to see homes that aren’t showing like a 10 spend a little time on the market.
